According to the latest data, Google occupies a large part of the search engine market – more than 92%. Despite this, every now and then there are new players who want to "bite off" their piece of the pie.
One of them was the new search engine Neeva. It was founded by two former Google employees of the highest rank, writes Fast Company. We are talking about the former head of Google's advertising business Sridhar Ramaswamm and vice president of YouTube monetization Vivek Raghunathan. They both worked at Google for over 10 years.
It is worth noting that the key feature of the new search engine is the absence of ads on it. At the same time, it also has its own fee – after a 3-month trial period, users will be offered a subscription for 4 4.95 per month.
For this money, developers offer the ability to connect their accounts in Google, Slack, Office 365, Dropbox and GitHub, as well as search for emails, documents and other information about them. At the same time, freedom from advertising will not go anywhere – Neeva will also not have it.
